NAAMA International Convention, Marrakesh, Morocco - Date is postponed

Dear Colleagues

As we are optimistically watching more vaccines becoming available and more people getting vaccinated against COVID 19 in the United States and globally, we continue to monitor all aspects of the pandemic and search for assurances amongst many of the uncertainties that are still out there.

At NAAMA we continue to put the safety and well-being of our members above everything.  With the progress of vaccination efforts in the US and predictions of mass vaccination by end of July, and with no clear indication that the rest of the world might follow a similar timeline, we feel obligated to be on the safe side of things.

We made a hard decision last year to not proceed with our plans for the International Medical Convention in the summer, this decision proved to be sound and wise based on what we know now.  Using the same judgment and wisdom, we have decided to delay our Morocco international convention again until the end of this year.  We will keep our plans and scientific program as is but will push the dates to December 2021.

As many of you know, our international conventions not only benefit our members and their families, but also colleagues and entities in the Arab World and we want to make sure that this convention holds true to our mission and visions as an organization without any risk to our members and colleagues.

Thank you for your support and we hope that these hard times shall pass soon.
