President’s Letter October 2024
Dear NAAMA Members, Supporters, and Friends,
As we reflect on the remarkable efforts and contributions of the NAAMA community, I am truly inspired by the impact we continue to make in the face of extraordinary challenges. Our collective resolve has enabled us to drive local outreach initiatives, global humanitarian missions, and educational programs, creating a significant impact across multiple fronts. A key example this year has been our support for Palestinian students and healthcare providers, empowering the next generation of medical professionals to serve their communities. These efforts, combined with our ongoing humanitarian aid, demonstrate NAAMA’s unwavering commitment to improving lives, strengthening communities, and rebuilding critical healthcare infrastructure where it is needed most.
Palestinian Student Scholarship Program
In our continued effort to support aspiring Palestinian medical professionals, NAAMA has proudly facilitated scholarships for a total of 192 students. These scholarships provide much-needed financial relief, allowing students to focus on their studies and pursue their dreams of becoming healthcare providers. Here is a breakdown of the scholarship distribution:
Gaza Strip: 73 Medical Students
•Ibn Sina University, Cairo: 7 students
•Ein Shams Medical School: 10 students
•Mansoura University: 1 student
•Al-Azhar University, Gaza: 55 sixth-year medical students
West Bank: 119 Students
•Al-Quds Open University: 54 students
•Nablus University: 42 nursing students
•Birzeit University: 20 students in healthcare-related fields
•Al-Quds University: 2 medical students
•American University of Jenin: 1 medical student
