Lebanon Humanitarian Crisis Fund

The situation in Lebanon has rapidly deteriorated, with more than half a million people displaced and in dire conditions. The cold weather, unavailability of basic supplies, and harsh, continuing war conditions have created the perfect storm for a severe humanitarian crisis. At NAAMA, in line with our history of focusing on humanitarian relief in all Arab countries, we have selected the following three organizations for an active donation campaign. Each organization was carefully selected based on scope, active presence in affected areas, and the ability to provide immediate help:

1 – Amel Association: Amel has an extensive track record of social justice responses, with more than 40 clinics in Lebanon. They can assist with emergency response, food, healthcare, and other needs for families.

2- The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children Fund: Specializes in providing the best possible medical, psychological, and social care for injured children and their caregivers. This effort will be in collaboration with the Chair of Conflict Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC).

3 – The American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC): AUBMC has been providing the highest standards of quality care to patients across Lebanon and the region since 1902. The hospital has invested in national initiatives for developing hospital disaster preparedness and response across Lebanon, with a focus on applying and developing evidence-based health management practices and mass casualty management in low-resource settings.
