Gaza Humanitarian Relief Appeal
The situation in Gaza continues to be disastrous as the nonstop “indiscriminate” bombing (as President Biden described it on Dec 12) entered the 3rd month. CNN was the first Western news outlet to be granted access into Gaza, its chief international correspondent Clarissa Ward said in her televised report on December 13: “Now the death toll in Gaza as a result of Israel’s frenzied bombardment currently hovers at roughly 18,000. If you do the math, extrapolating as the U.N. says, that two thirds of the casualties, roughly, are civilians, that is about 11,800 civilians who have been killed in just over two months.”
As an organization of healthcare professionals, we strive to promote health, wellness, and life for all. This goes to the core of our shared beliefs and humanity. NAAMA believes that this is a time to stand up and be counted. We believe that supporting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is the best way that we can support the humanitarian needs of Gaza’s trapped civilians. The NAAMA Foundation implores all supporters to dig deeply and make generous contributions to this critical fund-raising effort. The need has never been greater, especially now that winter is threatening the 1.9 million people displaced since the beginning of the war according to UNRWA.
Thank you for your support and your compassion.
