A message from the President 

Dear NAAMA Members:

In the early hours of February 6, 2023, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Turkish-Syrian border. This was followed by multiple earthquakes soon afterwards and over hundreds of aftershocks.

The scale of destruction is massive as many lost their lives, many injured and have been displaced.  Unfortunately, Syria has been impacted the most. Therefore, an immediate international assistance for northern Syria is crucial.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the heroic rescue teams and people from across the world who are already offering all manner of support.

NAAMA is working on multiple projects to send aid and help to the devastated region.  We are urgently collecting donation from our community through the UNICEF.  We are counting on your support and connection in reaching our goal.  Further, we are working on sending a team of doctors to help the local hospitals in the area.  Please reach out to us if you are interested in this medical mission.  

Finally, due to the recent changes to our software system, we urge all of our members to setup their new profile with NAAMA’s website and update their membership for both doctors and spouses.

We look forward to seeing you all with us at the San Diego national conference on September 2, 2023 and at the Egypt international conference on December 29, 2023.
