On May 12, 2018, NextGen held their first annual summit. The event was intended to be a workshop geared towards NAAMA NextGen members.
Its goals were to focus on leadership skills, career planning, interview skills, test-taking strategies, burnout prevention, and much more. Over 80 students attended this event ready to learn and prepare their futures.
With an extensive panel of medical school deans, doctors, and medical students, the NAAMA NextGen members were provided with a vast array of information that will be essential to their futures. Special thanks to all the deans, doctors, and students who helped put together such a successful event. We look forward to another successful summit next year and in future events to come.
