News from our University of Michigan NextGen Chapter!
This past Saturday, the University of Michigan chapter of NAAMA NextGen held a blanket-making event in conjunction with the charity Fleece and Thank You. Fleece and Thank You is a Michigan-based organization that partners with various volunteer groups to make fleece blankets for ill children in hospitals.
The University of Michigan NAAMA NextGen Chapter enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of making blankets, getting to know one another as well as the local Fleece and Thank You representative, and perfecting our personalized video messages for patients. With the help of NAAMA supporters, we raised $1,275 which covers 53 blanket kits!
