NAAMA California Chapters, Los Angeles and San Diego, had a very enjoyable event, May 6-8, 2022. Celebrating Mother’s Day, reconnecting with colleagues, and promoting scientific advancements in various specialties.
The 8-hour CME accredited scientific presentations provided the attendees up-to-date information on robotic colorectal surgery & colon cancer screening, hepatobiliary disease, obstetrics & psychiatry during the COVID pandemic, retinal & corrective lens surgery, minimally invasive trans-valvular cardiac interventions, reviewing antiplatelet therapy for drug eluting cardiac stents, advancements in cardiothoracic surgery to improve wound healing, and diet & weight loss management.
The Saturday evening Gala event was a huge hit, everyone enjoyed the live music, good food, and danced all night! The Convention capped off the memorable weekend with a very lovely Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday to show appreciation for the dear mothers.
The two chapters are excited to continue to grow and incorporate the next generation of Arab American health care providers!
